Never underestimate the importance of understanding the sport.

In order to fully return to your combat sport, it is important for your physical therapist to understand the demands and skills required. Too often patients receive physical therapy to improve basic function but then re-injure themselves as they return to the sport. Some never return and quit altogether. This is bad for the individual, the sport, and the gym owner/instructor.
Bill has this understanding and has also personally overcome various injuries and medical conditions to return to training.
Bill also understands the training and conditioning that is required to maximize competitiveness and optimize performance.

Bill is currently a BJJ Black Belt (Lineage: Mitsuyo Maeda > Carlos Gracie > Carlson Gracie > Ricardo De La Riva > Alexey Cruz-Pickerell), and is also a certified as a MMA conditioning coach.

“I sustained a bad knee injury during BJJ and I didn’t think I would be able to train again. Bill helped me to get back on the mats!”
