Bill Anderson, PT, DPT, GCS, CEEAA, MMACC has numerous certifications and awards. Most notably for his contributions to the profession of physical therapy specifically in the realm of his commitment to furthering the profession of Geriatric Physical Therapy.

 

He also enjoys teaching at every level. He has been able to do so at the university level, in the community, and during many patient visits.

 

Bill has been recognized by both the American Physical Therapy Association with the Clinical Excellence in Geriatric Physical Therapy Award and the Home Care and Hospice Alliance of Maine Caregiver of the Year Award.

We offer three physical therapy tracks for you to join depending upon your physical therapy needs. We will help you determine which track is best upon initial evaluation of your current functioning and goals.

Restorative
(Traditional Physical Therapy)

Goal:

Improve functional status

Maintenance

Goal:

Slowing or preventing loss of function when improvement is not anticipated

Wellness

Goal:

Establishment or continuation of an exercise program for long-term wellness

Track 1: Restorative (Traditional Physical Therapy)

Insurances Accepted for our Restorative/Traditional Physical Therapy Program. Resilience Maine Physical Therapy is in network with most insurers

Resilience Maine is in network with:

If Resilience Maine is out of network with your insurance, you may have out-of-network benefits. Check with your insurance to find out if you have out-of-network coverage for physical therapy.

At Resilience Maine, we believe in cost transparency and your right to shop for high quality, cost-effective services. We will be happy to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of our costs upon request or upon scheduling.  Call or email our office for more information.

 

We feel that healthcare is a fundamental right that everyone should have access to. We also feel that your recovery should be your primary focus. If you do not have health insurance, discuss this with us as we have sliding-scale options based on household income.

Track 2: Maintenance Physical Therapy

This program is designed to slow or prevent the loss of function when improvement isn’t anticipated.

This is currently covered by Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans as long as these two conditions are met:

  1. The service is medically necessary.

  2. The care provided requires the unique skills of a physical therapist.

Track 3: Wellness

This program is designed for prevention of functional loss as we face challenges in our lives. This is similar to making deposits in a bank to withdraw in times of need.

These programs are not covered by insurers and our fees are listed below

Physical Function Lab: 

Comprehensive Testing: (1 visit) $225 
Provides a more comprehensive look at your physical functioning and fall risk.


A 1.5 hour assessment using 20+ different standardized tests in the following areas: strength, posture, flexibility, endurance, balance, and cognitive screening. We identify any areas of risk and provide general recommendations to intervene.

Ongoing Management: 
In-person training $150/visit
5-Visit Package: $675 (save $75)
10-Visit Package: $1350 (save $150)


Supervised performance training and/or periodic reassessments by a physical therapist that can be conducted at our clinic or via telehealth anywhere in the state of Maine.

We have a fully equipped clinic space shared with Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates located at 23 Hannaford Dr., Scarborough, Maine.
